Do you allow for cancellation if I am not satisfied with the service?Yes, we want you to be happy with the services delivered. You can cancel our plans if not satisfied.

Why do you make it mandatory to have separate Discovery and Onboarding sessions?The Discovery session is needed to validate whether or not BluPrint services will be a good fit for clients before moving forward. The Onboarding session is important as a first step in getting you set up with the software we use for retirement planning and to move through the initial client setup.

Can I pay by EFT, check or cash?Client payments are only accepted via debit or credit card during check out. We utilize Stripe which accepts most major credit and debit cards.

What is the biggest difference between the monthly and annual self-managed plans?Both plans are suited to more experienced planners or do-it-yourselfers. The annual plan offers a 15% discount from the monthly price plan based on 12 months (excluding the onboarding and software setup charge). The annual plan also includes two additional 45-minute planner sessions vs. the monthly plan which includes two 30-minute planner sessions.

Do you help me select or pick specific stocks or bonds for my portfolio?No, BluPrint's investing philosophy is a buy and hold, low cost ETF or Fund approach. We believe a properly diversified and located investment portfolio is a simple yet effective approach. We do not manage assets or investments for clients. We also do not provide specific investment recommendations (picking stocks, bonds funds, etc.) However, we do discuss in general terms with our clients, high-level approaches of investing techniques based on one's station in life. There are plenty of financial planners who provide direct investing recommendations specific to your situation which can assist you with this.

How are you able to have such reasonable plan rates and service costs compared to others in the market?We believe that retirement planning advice and service should be within reach for those other than just the ultra-wealthy. We utilize market-leading technology based on thorough research and we specialize in retirement income planning. This specialization and our approach allows us to be very efficient and effective in providing solutions in a focused and concentrated area.

If I am concerned about the idea of linking my investment accounts can I still be a BluPrint client?Yes, although the linking process is very secure and the linking services used are those used by leading banks, you do not have to link assets or liability accounts to use the system. Manual input works just fine but will require a little additional time when completing updates to your accounts.

Am I required to provide up-front information prior to the Discovery session?No, it is not a requirement for this initial meeting. However, if you have questions you would like answered for the Zoom session, it will make this meeting more meaningful.

Are you able to confirm whether or not Roth conversions will benefit me?While not all clients will experience benefits from converting tax-deferred investment assets to a Roth IRA or Roth 401k, many will benefit and we can review this for you .

Am I able to send you my requested information electronically in a secure manner?Yes, we have a secure and encrypted file-transfer system built into our website. You can find this within the Client Resources page.

What if I only want specific investment guidance (what stocks or funds to buy)?BluPrint would not be a good fit for you if you only wanted specific investment guidance. Is it true that BluPrint operates remotely with all their clients?Yes, we only offer our services online and use technology for each of our meetings (e.g. Zoom video sessions, email, and chat interactions). We feel that efficient and effective client sessions can take place in this manner, with no loss of quality service-delivery to our clients. We are located in South Carolina but service clients in any U.S. state and city.

If I am located outside the U.S. can I still enroll for plan services?If you are a U.S. citizen for tax reporting purposes, then yes, we can be of service to you. Many of the tax rules and settings, as well as savings vehicles are different between countries. Because of this, we do not provide advice to non-U.S. tax-reporting individuals. As we want to provide the highest level of service to all clients, this approach makes the best business sense for BluPrint and for the client.

Does BluPrint implement my Comprehensive Guided Plan once it is completed?Our Comprehensive Guided Plan, once completed and delivered, will include a specific and clear report which covers each of the recommendations reviewed and built into the final plan. Your plan will also include a list of action items - with clear and concise instructions - of how to implement the plan. BluPrint provides three months of access to our planners for any follow-up questions as you implement your actions. After this three-month period, you will have access to one of our paid 60-minute planning sessions for additional follow-up assistance.
